Do You Think That These Are The Best Solutions For Your Problem?

Positive Affirmations For Women

By Zeynel Bakema

You've read all the self-help books: Attitude is everything! Change your perspective! Have a positive outlook! Can these ideas really change your future? And if so, how? In my childhood and adolescence, I was skeptical. Let's fact it, if my brother was born without being able to walk, how could my attitude or outlook change anything? As I got older I continued to reflect on a youth seemingly filled with disappointments and doubts. In talking to my friends and family, I realized I wasn't alone, we've all experienced them. Then, I started taking a good, long look at myself and my feelings. I realized that my deepest feelings were the ones guiding me forward, challenging me to reach to the depth of what I was able to feel - happy or sad. In the end, these feelings allowed me to explore all dimensions of my being.
[Positive Affirmations]

Affirmation on the other hand will make those subconscious thoughts conscious because you will be aware of them. And, when you start thinking conscious positive thoughts, you will be more aware which negative thoughts are threatening to take over. This is because we create what we think. This is an interesting phenomenon because if you're not aware of your negative thoughts, it could be sabotaging for you. Ninety percent of what you are thinking about gets carried over the next day's 52,000 thoughts so if you're thinking negative, you are bound to think negative thoughts and will never get you out of your rut. And yet, since affirmation means saying something positively, your statements will assert what you want to be true and change your mind set.

Since all of our inner conversation and that entire self-talk are streams of affirmations, we continually create our own experience based on the subconscious flow of those words and thoughts. Some of these thought patterns we have developed must have worked well for us since childhood but many of them are sabotaging us from getting what we really want. Remember that, what we think is the reflection of our inner beliefs and many of them are based on inappropriate impressions we have created as children. These behavioral patterns are used by our subconscious to quickly and easily respond to everyday events which is essential to our survival.

By using positive affirmations, it will target specific subconscious beliefs and replace them with positive and self-nurturing ones. It is a form of brainwashing only you can determine which of these negative beliefs you want to flush out of your system. Affirmations work and if you are determined enough into making positive changes in your life, the likely you are to accept change and let go of your past beliefs.

I am a big fan of using affirmation to effect personal change. I believe that by choosing to think positive affirmations, it will be easier for my mind to respond to something I believe to be true. Although I know how it works, I still find it astonishing that something this simple can create a dramatic effect in my life. It is nothing short of remarkable but by simply saying short sentences over and over again, you can produce positive change. But, don't let the simple technique fool you into thinking that they cannot work for you.Do affirmations work? Can you use affirmations to positively bring change in your life? Can you use affirmations for self-esteem? To understand, we have to first understand their relation to our mindset.Creating an affirmation is easy. You might be able to get a list of hundreds of thousands of affirmations around the web but very few people actually know that they are useful only if their power is synchronized with that of the positivity of the mind or else they only bring in more negative effects.

Challenge old beliefs. A great deal of the beliefs we have that cause our issues of low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and helplessness are the results of our early childhood interactions with our parents - beliefs we developed as a five-year old may have been effective at keeping us safe and secure as small children, but that same belief held by an adult can result in a lack of confidence or responsibility for our own happiness, to ask for what we want or be able to say no to others. Unattended, out-worn beliefs that hang around long after their expiry date are responsible for enormous pain and regret; learn to identify them and weed them out of your mind to make room for new, empowering one.For women, challenging some of the old cultural/tribal beliefs is particularly revealing and empowering as it affects change not only within ourselves, but also has a trickle down effect for new generations. As we challenge, release and replace old limiting beliefs about the roles women were historically assigned to play, we live and teach the new beliefs to those that come after us. For example, a tribal belief within my family and heritage was that the men were the breadwinners and the women were the housekeepers... for a woman to be happy, she had to find and marry "a good man" who would provide her with security, a nice home and a certain level of comfort; and in exchange, she would raise the kids, cook, clean and manage the household. This formula is great if that's what you want; however, in this family, a lesbian career woman with no interest in raising children would experience a certain amount of conflict between the traditional family beliefs and her personal desires.

Experience the good feeling - The best part is this. Getting into the vortex feels good. Getting into the vortex itself improves your self-esteem. That's because everything around you is actually an affirmation. When you make the list of your best qualities, you silently affirm that you want to become confident enough. From today, stop thinking of affirmations as sentences. Think of them as universally existing programming. Every single moment in your life is an affirmation to the subconscious. You are reprogramming yourself every moment.Confidently use affirmations - Now, once you feel the happiness of being in confident environment, your subconscious becomes more receptive to the positivity of affirmations. All you have to do is keep affirming those affirmations in the positive mood.

Create self-esteem - If you can follow the above steps without a glitch, you won't really need to follow this step because then you will be using affirmations for self-esteem without trouble. But then again, if you need to, make sure you create a list of affirmations you can repeat during the time of being in the vortex. That's all you'll need to create positive change.Using positive affirmations for success can help you to achieve your personal goals, whether they are goals for your business, or goals relating to athletic pursuits, financial goals or creative enterprises. Affirmative thought can relate to even the most modest goals or dreams, but if they mean something to you, then why hold back when it comes to finding a way to make those dreams a reality?

Repetition- Positive affirmations work best when spoken often. I've found through years of experience and research on affirmations that choosing one or two affirmations to work on at a time is best, otherwise you'll likely get scattered results. Try to remember to say out loud or meditate on your affirmation as you are waking up in the morning and as you are falling asleep at night. Another couple of ways to reinforce your affirmations are to write one or two of them on index cards and keep that on your nightstand... read the affirmations right before you go to bed, and right before you get up in the morning.

By making daily affirmations, you are likely to give the ideas you have greater consideration and thought. This means that you'll be able to formulate plans and strategies for achieving your goals. The more that something occupies your mind, and the more positive your thoughts about that thing, the easier it becomes to begin finding opportunities. You'll develop a higher level of clarity and with the focus that you have on a positive outcome, you'll start to find fresh ways to overcome hurdles that stand between you and your goal.If you're going to succeed, then you need to embrace a 'can do' attitude. Achieving goals takes energy and motivation, which is what people who reach their goals have in spades. Positive affirmations for success serve to help you adopt the right attitude for success. The more upbeat your thoughts, the greater your levels of enthusiasm will be, and the easier it becomes to see possibilities instead of hurdles standing between you and the success you desire.
